I ate dinner here while I was in Nelson and absolutely loved it! The food was great, the service was impeccable, and they had a live Jazz Duo that really made this establishment perfect 👌

Just wow. The best restaurant i ever been in ambience-wise (and I am a seasoned traveller!). I am someone who appreciates attention to details. And every detail in this lounge is spot-on. The live musician played very nice jazzy music fitting the atmosphere perfectly in the optimal volume. Not too loud to be overpowering, but not to quiet to get lost in conversation noise. Rarely do you get a comfy chair in a restaurant, but these chairs... I still think about them haha! And the little vintage steam-ship decoration next to the bar... Such a sweet nod to the area and the Moyie ship museum, which we had visited the day before. The food and drinks were nice, not the best, but the atmosphere is what makes this place a true stand-out gem to me. Make sure to visit and leave some nice tips!

Cutest little old heritage hotel bar I've been to in many years. Great service, lots of history, unique (try the Okonomiyaki 'Tokyo' fries) and delicious (when was the last time you felt you got enough black olives and feta on your Greek salad?) food - even live guitar. In my humble opinion Anthony Bourdain would have appreciated this place very much (and Nelson as well for that matter). I will absolutely come here whenever I'm in the area, love love loved it!

This place is amazing. If I could change one thing it would be the terribly designed beige on beige menu that is nearly unreadable by anyone over 50 in the lighting conditions. It's a minor complaint, no points deducted because the food and service were outstanding and the decor is absolutely beautiful!

This restaurant is hitting on all cylinders. Cozy and beautiful atmosphere, excellent food and service, and we came on a Sunday night when they have Nico, the jazz guitar player. His virtuosic gentle jazz stylings set the perfect mood. On weekends they have the prime rib special. Don't miss it especially for the Yorkshire pudding!

Beautiful inside atmosphere inside Hume Hotel. Gorgeous vintage and antique furnishings. Vegan and vegetarian options clearly labelled on menu! The vegan bowl was so delicious! My friend ordered a vegetarian mushroom ravioli. Highly recommended - right off main Baker St in Nelson.

This is the place to try some good eats in Nelson BC. I was surprised it was not very big but that could be why the food is the best I've ate in so long. I had a burger and my wife had the special. All of it including the fries were so yummy. I do want to take note the waitresses were on point the whole time. They were welcoming and friendly.

Excellent jazz lounge pianist playing live on a Thursday night, fish and chips with blueberry-rosemary vinaigrette on salad were all delicious. Followed it up with the delicious cashew cream dessert and a jasmine green tea. Busy place. All the meals coming out looked good. Very old-school atmosphere was perfect.

In town for awesome car show. And this is are to go to place. Prime rib was delicious, service was top notch and atmosphere was phenomenal. Would highly recommend when in Nelson.
